Wendell sets up two business units in Xindian and Wugu in Taiwan. The Xindian headquarters laboratory provides complete EMS testing, safety, reliability and EV battery safety testing services. Besides Wendell owns the 20 kV lightning generator, which is the highest testing capability among Taiwan. Wugu laboratory is equipped with two accredited EMI test chambers, ESD testing room and RF wireless communication product testing facility.to meet China’s CCC territorial certification requirements. In Seoul, Korea, Wendell built ESD and Surge test room as well.
The certification service covers five continents in the world, from the basic five regulations (CE / FCC / VCCI / BSMI / RCM), regional certification (CCC/KC) and international certification services. We help client to export products promptly to all around the world.
In addition, Wendell also sets up a 7x4x3 semi-anechoic chamber in LungHwa University of Science and Technology, focuses on industry-university corporation and devotes to the talent development of students.
Fully Anechoic Chamber
The spec of our certification laboratory is 11 meters in length, 6 meters in height, and 6 meters in width. The laboratory is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations for measuring the noise emitted by wireless devices deliberately such as Bluetooth, WIFI, RFID etc. The test ensures that the use of wireless functions by the device will not interfere with other users’ wireless devices.
It is a shielded room with a spec of 9m×6m×6m. The interior is built with a metal reference ground, Ferrite tiled walls and ceiling, coupled with extra absorbers. It can prevent the surrounding walls from reflecting electromagnetic waves, in line with the standard ANSI C63.4 & CISPR 16-1-4 requirements.
It is a shielded room with a spec of 7m×4m×3m. The walls and ceiling are covered with Ferrite Tile to prevent electromagnetic waves from being reflected. This is a mock official issuance venue for pre-scanning and debugging.
This test is aimed at the conduction tolerance of the power line, control line, signal line, ground line, etc. The transient voltage suppression diode (TVS) and inductive components filter provided by Wendell can be used for protection.
It is a shielded room with a spec of 8m×4m×4m. The interior is built with a metal reference ground. There are six walls covered with Ferrite Tile, and additional absorber. We conduct radiation tolerance test on the external case of the tested device here. The transient voltage suppression diode (TVS) and ESD Suppressor (ESD Suppressor) provided by Wendell are used for protection.
This test is to simulate the electrostatic discharge caused by human fingers or hand tools touching the device. The test is performed in a temperature and humidity controlled shelter, which can provide different environmental conditions to observe the impact of environmental changes on the performance of the device. Wendell provides electrostatic suppression products, such as electrostatic diode (ESD Diode), electrostatic suppressor (ESD Suppressor) and other protections.
Conducted interference test measures the noise voltage or current radiated by conduction of the equipment or circuit. Wendell provides inductive components, such as inductance, common mode coil etc. as suppression.
This test simulates the surge impact generated when the car battery is suddenly interrupted or abnormal during the charging process, and the load dump surge phenomenon will also appear at the moment the car engine starts. The load-dump tolerance can be protected with automotive transient voltage suppression diodes (TVS) and automotive inductors provided by Wendell.
RF Conducted Measurement
The laboratory is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. It is to use on measuring the deliberately emitted signals of wireless products, such as Bluetooth, WIFI, RFID, etc. This test ensures that the product device will not interfere with other users’ wireless devices when using the wireless function.
This is for testing the endurance of electronic components and equipment systems after being subjected to surge shocks, so as to check whether the performance of the equipment can withstand the interference of pulses and noise. Wendell provides over-voltage products, such as transient voltage suppression diode (TVS), gas discharge tube (GDT) and other protections.
This test is mainly to evaluate the equipment under test’s ability to withstand the influence of transient switching signal waves generated by the interruption of inductive loads, sudden opening of relay contacts and so on.
This test is mainly to simulate the phenomenon of grid voltage drop or even short-term interruption caused by high-power equipment connected to the AC grid, and to verify the performance stability of the equipment under test in this voltage change state.
Electrical fast transient pulse, voltage drop and transient test. The transient voltage suppression diode (TVS) provided by Wendell and the filter formed by inductive components are used for protection.
Harmonic & Flicker
The power harmonic test mainly measures the harmonics injected into the power grid when the equipment under test is working. Voltage variation and flicker tests mainly measure the changes in the grid voltage caused by the equipment under test.
Power Frequency Magnetic Field
The test is mainly to simulate the magnetic field formed by AC and DC power lines, such as the influence of the magnetic field near large-scale transformer equipment on the equipment. It is for the product with magnetic sensitive components inside, such as CRT or equipment containing Hall components.
