Effective November 1, 2025, all lithium-ion batteries and chargers for electric bicycles must obtain CCC certification and display the CCC certification mark before they can be produced, sold, or imported. Manufacturers or importers of lithium-ion batteries and chargers for electric bicycles can submit certification applications through the website of the China Quality Certification Center (CQC).
The relevant certification rules have been in effect since October 15, 2024, and manufacturers or importers should prepare the relevant documents as soon as possible and submit certification applications to the CQC.
